Black Reishi Info

 

Ganoderma sinense, also known as Black Reishi, is native to China, Japan and Taiwan and has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. It produces dark red or black fruiting bodies over many months that are stunning to look at and can be preserved for decorations or to make teas and tinctures.

 

Difficulty: Easy

Approx. Number of Flushes: 1 flush that grows over the course of a year

Time to Fruit: Starts pinning on average around 1-3 months (depending on conditions)

Preferred temperature: 18-24℃

Indoor/Outdoor: Both
