This bundle is perfect for anyone with an interest in mushroom foraging. We've curated these kits to give you the chance to grow three delicious but lesser-known edible species that are popular amongst seasoned fungi foragers. Growing these mushrooms at home allows you to observe each stage of their development, making it a valuable learning experience. Plus, you can harvest them at their peak, which is often difficult when foraging in the wild!

Our easy-to-grow kits will start producing mushrooms in 1-5 weeks and can yield 1-3 harvests. You can find detailed instructions for all our kits on our website. Each of our mushroom fruiting blocks weighs 2 kg and is made from organic, sustainable, vegan, and peat-free substrates. Learn more about our materials here.

About the mushrooms:

Dryad's Saddle (Cerioporus squamosus) is the largest capped mushrooms in the UK, with caps sometimes exceeding 60cm in diameter. Not only is it visually striking, but it’s also a delicious edible prized by foragers. However, it's best eaten when young and tender, making it tricky to harvest at the right time. Our at-home grow kit makes this much easier!

Poplar fieldcap mushrooms, also known as Black Poplar or Pioppino mushrooms, have an earthy, nutty flavor with a hint of sweetness and peppery notes. They are excellent in soups, stir-fries, risottos, and pasta, pairing well with game and red meat.

The Phoenix Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus pulmonarius) is a species of oyster mushroom that grows wild in the UK. It is similar to the Blue Oyster but with a more delicate texture and sweet flavour, making it ideal for quick-cooking methods like sautéing or stir-frying.
